I will list all the colours here for easy access, with a picture, years, style & size (eventually).
Colours
Early - Flint, Golden Amber, Ruby, Sapphire Blue, Sea Green, Twilight
Intermediate - Arctic Blue, Flint, Golden Amber, Ocean Green, Ruby, Twilight
Later - Amber, Arctic Blue, Flint, Ocean Green, Ruby, Silver, Twilight
FLC - Aqua, Flint, Gold, Ruby, Sky Blue
New Studio Amber - In the FLC period there seems to have been an error and the wrong colour was created, or used, leading to duck production in what we call New Studio Amber, or NSA. These pop up now and again, the colour is virtually identical to the Amber/Golden Amber used for ducks from 1955. It is uncatalogued, possibly just an error, but a lovely colour nonetheless.
Copper Brown - Also in the FLC period, in a 1978 price list there is a statement "From 1st Feb 1978, all items in the Gold/Aqua range will also be made in Copper Brown & Sky Blue, both of which are Full Lead Crystal". Since Sky Blue ducks exist, it follows that Copper Brown ducks are out there somewhere, happy hunting, but I don't believe anyone has ever seen one!
Sizes
These varied from 5" to 7" over the various styles/periods, here are the variations.
Early - Small 5.5", Large 7"
Intermediate - Small 5.5", Large 7"
Later - Small 5", Large 7"
Later - Small 5.5", Large 7"
Later - Small 5.5", Large 6.5"
FLC - Small 5.5"
As with colours, there are some size anomalies. Of course there will be the friggers, with some ducks measuring 8". There are also a number of "ducklings" in existence, that are much smaller and possibly were made as samples for sales staff to carry around. These are around the 3-4" making them noticeably smaller than the catalogued production size.
